Atinuke "Tinu" O. Diver is an attorney and writer. Her essay Running Into Glass Doors appears in the 3rd volume of the I Speak For Myself series, Talking Taboo: American Christian Get Frank About Faith (White Cloud Press, October 2013). She pens the monthly column One and Only for Ms. JD as a 2013 Writer-in-Residence. Her writing on race, culture, and relationships have appeared in BlogHer, Racialicious, The Fresh Xpress, Wedding Nouveau, Beyond Black &White, and been recognized as an Editor’s Pick on OpenSalon.com. She is the creator of YesWereTogether.com, a humor blog that challenges the assumptions and assumes the challenges of interracial relationship in the 21st century.



Born in Boston and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Tinu earned degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. Tinu lives with her husband in Boston, Massachusetts.
