Benedict Joson is a Youth Panelist at The International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity and is envisioning Tagaparo. His commitment to global education led him to join the development team at Pencils of Promise, a global youth ambassador for A World at School, volunteer at DonorsChoose.org, and a digital advocate for the World Humanitarian Summit with a focus on education in emergencies and crises. Originally from the Philippines, he helped launch The Philippines Foundation to support sustainable development efforts in his native country. As a proud New Yorker, he contributes to the capacity-building of his hometowns underserved communities and youth populations as a board director at VOYCE and an advisory board member at the Hope Reichbach Fund. With an education in the social sciences and concentration in development policy from Hunter College of the City University of New York, he holds true its motto, “Mini Cura Future” and encourages, “The care of the future is ours.”
