Brady Josephson

Brady is dedicated to changing and improving charities to change and improve people’s lives. Currently, he is Principal at Shift, an agency providing creative, fundraising and campaign services to companies and causes.

He is the creator and main contributor on re: charity, a blog focused on innovation and improvements for charity, as well as an adjunct professor at the School of Business and Nonprofit Management at North Park University in Chicago.

After graduating with his Masters of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University in Chicago Brady began his career as the Director of Resource Development for Spark Ventures, a start-up organization doing sustainable development work to help children in developing countries. He then moved back to his native Canada to work for Opportunity International in Canada, the world’s largest Christian microfinance organization, eventually working as the National Director, Marketing & Communications before helping launch Charity Express - a digital creative and strategic agency serving charities. Charity Express merged with technology companies Chimp and Peer Giving where Brady worked in client strategy and business development before leaving to start shift.
