Bridget has been active in the environmental field for nearly 10 years, focusing on the development of service projects that benefit both the community and the environment. She is currently working at the University of Washington in Tacoma, Washington as an Instructional Lab Coordinator. Her current projects focus on low impact development, sustainable food supply, and community stewardship.

Kayomi is a M.A. student at the University of Washington Tacoma. She is a contributor to www.BlackPast.org, an online reference guide to African American history, and researching African American and Japanese American communities in the Pacific Northwest. Active in the environmental movement both personally and professionally, she has taken on implementing several projects around natural resource protection, sustainable food supply, and community outreach as Service Learning Coordinator for the UW Tacoma.
