Brooke Hammerling
Founder, Brew Media Relations

Brooke dreamed of starting a company that embraced the same philosophies and energy that she has while providing her clients with spectacular guidance and media connections. Before starting Brew, Brooke was the Vice President of Media Relations at Zeno Group. She directly managed many clients including: Blue Coat Systems, Helio,,, NetSuite, and Xfire accounts. Brooke was the person the agency turned to for media advice, introductions, lead generating and placement security. She also consulted for a variety of Zeno clients such as: JAMDAT Mobile, Oracle, Sirius Satellite Radio, WIRED Magazine among others.
Prior to joining Zeno, Brooke had her own media relations consulting practice serving clients such as Oracle and its CEO Lawrence Ellison, Electronic Arts, Ultimate Arena/Xfire, OpenCola, NexTag and Fractal Edge. Before that, she directed public relations for LivePicture and Accompany (later MobShop) and served a broad array of technology and consumer clients for San Francisco-based Access Communications, including Sega, PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), Junglee, NCI (Network Computer Inc.) and Imagine Media (publishers of PC Gamer, Next Generation and other technology titles).

Brooke is passionate about media relations in all aspects of business. Her philosophy is to treat the media as though they are the client and by doing so she has some of the most solid relationships with the media in the business. She is a standard fixture at industry events including DEMO, D: All Things Digital, PC Forum and Web 2.0 among others.
When Brooke isn't tapping away at her blackberry and looking at her NetSuite dashboard to see how business is doing, she is on a plane flying back and forth between coasts as she spends 50% of her time with her clients and media based in both Southern and Northern California.

Brooke is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
