Catherine Meek

Catherine Meek is the Executive Director of School on Wheels. She is also
President of the Board and a volunteer tutor and has been involved with the
organization for 10 years in various capacities. As Executive Director, she
is responsible for developing and implementing strategic objectives and
operating policies and procedures that will ensure attainment of School on
Wheels’ mission and goals. She oversees and evaluates the organization’s
results and coordinates staff roles and responsibilities.

In her prior life, Catherine was President of Meek and Associates and
practiced in the strategy, organization and compensation fields for over 30
years. Before opening her own consulting firm in 1986, she spent 12 years
with Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby where she was Vice President and
Principal, and two years as Managing Principal at Sibson & Company. She
built unique partnership relationships with clients to design and deliver
organization and compensation solutions to support and reinforce each
organization’s business strategy, objectives and culture. She has consulted
with Fortune 500 companies, as well as emerging businesses in various
industries. Her articles and book con¬tribu¬tions have appeared in a wide
range of publications and she is a frequent speaker and seminar leader.

Catherine received her MA degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
