Cheryl Scott is an economic developer by profession and a writer by passion. Her friends call her the “dot connector” because she observes people, situations and connections, finds the common thread, then weaves it all together for everyone’s benefit…or at least for a good story! In her role as vice president at Kern Economic Development Corporation in Bakersfield, CA, Cheryl works with businesses and community groups to create jobs and strengthen the local economy. She is a lover of excellent customer service and has developed and conducted training programs to help others deliver top-notch service for their clients. She enjoys strategizing in the areas of business, communications and promotion, then using those strategies to create successful and rewarding partnerships.
