Christopher is a writer, editor, oral historian, philologist, bibliophile, and typographic enthusiast.

He is the author of Word Perfect, a one-man play about a door-to-door dictionary salesman, which premiered at Chicago's Live Bait Theater in June 2007. He has also performed his stories at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater and on WGN AM Radio.

His book, Of No Fixed Address: A Collection of Stories from the Streets of America, is in search of a publisher.
