Writer and actor; producer, 'Drama Queenz' and 'Langston's'
Dane Harrington Joseph is the creator, executive producer, and writer of Drama Queenz, the hit comedy Web series, now in its third season, that has been featured at pride parades and film festivals across the country. In addition to Drama Queenz, he has produced the short films Boys Like You (Winner, Best Male Short, 2011 North Carolina Gay & Lesbian Film Festival) and Where Truth Lies (Official Selection, 2012 San Diego Black Film Festival), and the documentary series Fade In, about homeless gay youth in NYC. Having recently earned his earned his masters from Columbia University, he has worked at CNBC, NBC Universal, the Obie Award-winning Flea Theater, the Tony Award-winning Roundabout Theater Company, and Paper Mill Playhouse, and as an actor in the national tour of Elton John's and Tim Rice's Aida. He is also a magna cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University (B.A., History and Economics; Economics Honors Citation) and the Interlochen Arts Academy, and is a proud member of The Writers Guild of America (East).
