Daniel is state director of the California Construction Academy, a project of the UCLA Labor Center and managing director at Intelligent Partnerships consulting group. An electrician by trade with years of experience in workforce development policy, Villao’s construction industry expertise has allowed him to build strong partnerships between community, labor, policy and business leaders.
He most recently published the book
Beyond Green Jobs: Building Lasting Opportunities in Energy Efficiency. Villao chairs the national Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship at the Department of Labor.
