Darryl Woodard was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in an Air Force family, which meant he didn’t stay in one place for more than two years or so. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, and continued a post graduate night study of a comprehensive business core curriculum while working for the Library District. A desire for change led him to Florida, where he attended a media arts school as a student of animation (perhaps, because he still fondly remembers trying to sneak past the security front gate at Pixar studio while on vacation in San Francisco). He left that program, and briefly studied International Affairs at the Hamilton Holt School Evening Degree Program at the Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida (Mister Rogers Neighborhood alma mater). Back in Las Vegas he worked at Borders Books and currently works at a local restaurant.
