Dave Chase
CEO, Avado. Patient Relationship Management company

Beginning in the mid 80’s, Dave Chase was a management consultant working for one of the largest consulting firms in the world in their health care practice. He primarily worked for providers and how they managed the process and systems that interfaced with the payors (i.e., insurance companies, Medicare, etc.). He later founded Microsoft's health care business where he gained an even deeper view into the workings of the industry not only in the U.S. but all over the world. Despite having been a strong believer in the free market and member of the GOP, he observed that the costly and convoluted U.S. health payment "system" would make Rube Goldberg proud.

He is currently the CEO of Avado, a patient relationship management company that was a TechCrunch Disrupt finalist and described by TechCrunch as the "Salesforce.com of Healthcare." The Wall Street Journal referred to Avado as "the best option for you to take control of your medical records." You can follow him on Twitter @chasedave.
