David Michael Conner is a writer and artist based in Washington, D.C. He has contributed entertainment interviews and LGBT commentary to Advocate.com, Geek Monthly magazine, and the Entertainment Industries Council, where he worked as a writer for 10 years. Notable interviews include Tori Amos, Kathy Griffin, Dustin Lance Black, and Sara Bareilles among others. He writes extensively about Lyme and associated tickborne illnesses via a widely read Huffington Post blog and www.AndTheBandPlaysOn.com, a Lyme disease resource. Conner holds an MFA in creative writing and a BA in English and film and media studies, both from George Mason University. He currently works full time in higher education and part time as a painter.
