David Dagan

David Dagan is a freelance journalist a PhD candidate in political science at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. David is the co-author of Prison Break: Why Conservatives Turned Against Mass Incarceration. His dissertation examines the local origins of the prison boom. Previously, David was a reporter at the Central Penn Business Journal in Harrisburg, PA, where he shared the Keystone State Society of Professional Journalists' Spotlight Award for investigative reporting. He has reported from Germany, Israel, and Rwanda for a wide range of news outlets.
