Dawn Godbolt, PhD

ARCHE Health Equity Fellow at the Center for Global Policy Solutions

Dr. Dawn Godbolt is a Health Equity Fellow at The Center for Global Policy Solutions. Her research interests include inequalities of race and gender, comparative health analyses, health equity, neighborhood disorder, and urban poverty. Her past work examines race differences in mothers’ fear of allowing children outside based on neighborhood disadvantage, and the connection between stereotypes, stress, religion, and obesity. She holds a BS in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University and recently completed her PhD in Sociology from Florida State. She is also an ARCHE Public Voices Fellow with The OpEd Project and a former Ronald E. McNair Graduate Fellow.
