Ted De Barbieri

Ted De Barbieri is as an Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Community Development Clinic at Albany Law School. He held prior academic appointments at Brooklyn Law School and NYU School of Law. Before teaching, he served as Senior Staff Attorney at the Urban Justice Center’s Community Development Project, where he advised nonprofit organizations, provided legal assistance to low-income workers, tenants, and homeowners facing foreclosure. Professor De Barbieri joined Urban Justice Center in 2008 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow. He was a Fulbright Research Fellow at the University College Cork, Ireland from 2007-2008. He has published in the Cardozo Law Review, and his work has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal, The Nation, The Huffington Post, and The New York Times.
