Dr. Eugene B. Habecker

President, Taylor University

Taylor University alumnus Dr. Eugene B. Habecker is the 30th president of Taylor University, having assumed the presidency on August 15, 2005. Before returning to Taylor, Habecker served as president of the American Bible Society from 1991-2005. Prior to that, he served as president of Huntington University from 1981-1991. He and his wife Marylou have visited more than 95 countries. Habecker holds degrees from Taylor University (B.A.), Ball State University (M.A.) the University of Michigan (Ph.D.); a law degree (J.D.) from Temple University; and a certificate from Harvard University's Institute for Educational Management.
