Dr. Robert A. Kornfeld received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1980 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. The Academy of Ambulatory Foot Surgery honored him as “Outstanding Graduate” in the field of ambulatory foot surgery. He went on to complete post-graduate training in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Kornfeld has developed protocols for almost all foot and ankle pathology, incorporating safe, natural, supportive medicines, which allow the body to “heal itself”. He is Board Certified in Integrative Medicine by the American Association of Integrative Medicine, the American Board of Alternative Medicine and the American Alternative Medical Association. He has hosted his own interactive radio show, “The Holistic Foot and Healthcare Show” which has aired on WEVD 1050 AM, WMCA 560 AM and WWRL 1600 AM radio stations, here in New York. He is the also the founder of the Institute for Integrative Podiatric Medicine, a teaching institute for the profession of podiatry.
