Emily Flake

Emily Flake is a Brooklyn-based cartoonist, illustrator, and writer.
Her work has appeared in The Nation, Jane magazine, Forbes, Time Out New York, and MAD magazine, among many others. Her comic strip, Lulu Eightball, appears in alt-weeklies all over the country and is available in book format. She is also the author and illustrator of a forthcoming book about smoking, which she enjoys doing but is beginning to feel bad about the whole possibility of dying thing. She also enjoys
knitting (especially lace) and boxing (decent right cross).
