CEO, Estella's Brilliant Bus
Estella Mims Pyfrom has devoted her life to education and serving the community. As an educator, she worked in a spectrum of positions, from K-12 classroom teacher to guidance counselor. She retired for the first time after 48 years of service, only to return two years later. In Oct. 2008, Estella officially retired so that she could pursue her passion of improving the lives of culturally and economically disadvantaged children and families. Investing a large sum of her pension, Estella created Project Aspiration (now Estella’s Brilliant Bus) to make her vision a reality. Estella’s Brilliant Bus travels to underserved communities and networks with schools, businesses and community agencies to provide experiences that will enable families to become more productive.
