Fredrica Duke

Storyteller, director and foodie since age five.

Fredrica Duke is a mother, a daughter and a wife. Her children, Oliver, Augie and Barnaby are artists and performers. Her father, Maurice Duke, handicapped from polio, was a one-of-a-kind B-movie producer, about whom she directed and produced a documentary. Her husband, Michael Barrie, was a writer for the Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson. Fredrica, AKA, Fredde, writes stories of growing up in Beverly Hills on her blog Channeling the Food Critic in Me, and is a regular contributor to the magazine One for the Table. Fredde’s one woman show, In My Own X-Rated Words, which she wrote, produced and directed, was seen in L.A. and New York over the last three years.
