G. Benjamin Bingham is the author of Making Money Matter...Impact Investing to Change the World, which was published in April 2015 by Prospecta Press.
After twelve years managing public and private investment portfolios, Mr. Bingham founded 3Sisters Sustainable Management, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) www.3sistersinvest.com , along with its research arm www.wikipositive.org and its first proprietary fund family: Scarab Funds.
Mr. Bingham is a Fellow of Economists for Peace and Security (EPS). He is a member of the Investors’ Circle and the Social Venture Network, and, as a social entrepreneur/investor/money manager, draws on broad hands-on management experience at two technology start-ups, one in biological healthcare (Demegen) and the other a global workflow solution provider (Anthurium Solutions).
Mr. Bingham is a Registered Investment Advisor with a CFP™ designation and a background in philanthropy. In the seventies and early eighties he was a founder of Triform Camphill Community. His understanding of the ecology of how things work was also schooled by 10 years of work as a trained biodynamic farmer, and 43 years of marriage, five grown children, and four granddaughters. His training in Gestalt psychology may also help in understanding the psychology of the market! He is on the Board of CSRHub, the largest data source for ratings of corporations on environmental, social and governance issues. He is also on the Board of the Mariah Fenton Gladis Foundation to support Mariah’s therapeutic work. He attended Groton School, Yale University, and Emerson College in England.
