George Howard

COO of Norton LLC parent company of Wolfgang's Vault, ConcertVault, Daytrotter and Paste Magazine

Prior to serving as COO of Norton, LLC, Mr. Howard founded and ran Rock and Roller Advising, a strategic consulting firm at the intersection of art, commerce, and technology that helps clients identify emerging technologies and trends that can be applied in marketing communications programs. Mr. Howard was one of the original founders of TuneCore, which has become the world's largest distributor of music. He is also the former President of Rykodisc, one of the world’s largest independent labels.

Outside of his position at Norton, Mr. Howard is an Associate Professor of Management at Berklee College of Music. He is a frequent lecturer at many institutions, and is an in-demand keynote speaker for numerous events.
Mr. Howard holds a Masters of Business in Administration, a Law Degree (J.D.) and a Masters Degree in Literature. He has published two books on the music business and maintains a blog at www.9giantsteps.com.
