Throughout the course of music history, there are certain artists that time simply refuses to forget. Their artistry has left such an indelible mark on the industry, far beyond what the gold and platinum standard can ever hope to measure. No matter how long their absence may be, it only seems to make the hearts of the listeners grow even fonder – eagerly awaiting their return. It’s safe to say that recording artist/songwriter Glenn Lewis fits the description. His voice. His style. Raised in a West Indian household where R&B, soul, calypso, soca, and reggae shared equal space on the record shelf, music was an ever-present force during Glenn’s formative years. With his father being a member of popular Columbia Records vocal group Crack Of Dawn and his mother a singer-songwriter, the Toronto native was essentially destined to express himself through the gift of song.

In 2001, Glenn introduced himself to music lovers via his self-penned “Don’t You Forget It." The standout song began to take on a life of its own, soaring on Billboard’s Top 40 (#30) and R&B (#10) charts. His debut album World Outside My Window (Epic Records) was released the following spring. An introspective and soulful affair, the album shot to #4 on the Billboard Hot 200 and #2 on the R&B Albums chart, landing him on tour with mega starlet Alicia Keys– solidifying Glenn’s lofty post as R&B’s new shining prince and musical force to be reckoned with. The following year Glenn made an appearance in the film Maid in Manhattan featuring Jennifer Lopez, with his romantic hit "Fall Again" included on the soundtrack. In 2004 Glenn netted his first Grammy nomination via his rendition of “Where Is The Love” - the classic 1972 Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway hit - with label mates Amel Larrieux and legendary bassist Stanley Clarke.

Several Juno Awards later, Glenn Lewis is making a confident and dynamic return to the spotlight with his sophomore album Moment of Truth (Ruffhouse/Capitol Records). Featuring guest appearances by the likes of Melanie Fiona and the work of multi-platinum producers Andre Harris & Vidal Davis, Ivan Barrias & Carvin Haggins, CertiFYD and Matrax, Moment Of Truth flaunts a soulful, yet contemporary sound that aims to breathe new life into R&B.
