Helen Ouyang, MD, MPH

Helen Ouyang, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor at Columbia University, where she works as a practicing emergency physician, and is an affiliate faculty of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. Dr. Ouyang is the Associate Director of Columbia’s International Emergency Medicine Fellowship. She has worked in over 20 different countries in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America with various NGOs, UN agencies, and academic institutions. Dr. Ouyang was a 2005-2006 Zuckerman Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership. She lives in NYC when she is not working overseas.
