Author, speaker and communications consultant.

Carolyn Kristy Correia is a consummate and dedicated creative, literary enthusiast. Her first love is writing from which all else emanates. This has led to the publication of her books: Thinking out Loud (2011), How To Find Yourself & Claim What’s Yours (2015) and She missed the boat of love (2016) with speaking engagements internationally and in her home country of Trinidad & Tobago. The author has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literatures in English and Communications from The University of the West Indies and a Master of Arts in Mass Communications with specializations in Film and Public Relations from the University of Leicester (UK). She is also trained in Broadcasting, Human Resource Management and classical piano with the Royal Schools of Music (UK). Carolyn has 10+ years combined professional experience in the fields of HRM, Communications and (freelance) Journalism in the trade and commerce, media, microfinance, hospitality and tourism industries. She has been published and featured in magazines and newspapers globally and a blogger since 2008. In 2014, she took a hiatus from the corporate world to pursue entrepreneurship. She is now a communications consultant, motivational speaker, freelance writer and author. In 2012 she received a First Time Author’s award from the National Library of Trinidad and Tobago. Above all, Carolyn is a student of life: she loves learning and experimenting with new concepts on her path to self-actualization. Her many passions include helping others discover their passion and purpose; realize their full potential and live life unfettered without fear or regret.
