American University graduate
Isha Mehmood is a recent master's graduate from American University's School of Public Affairs. She has worked on civil and human rights issues for several years, including internships at the National Religious Campaign Against Torture, the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, and as a peace fellow in Kathmandu, Nepal. Most recently, she interned at the White House in the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. Isha graduated in 2007 from Virginia Tech, earning a B.A. in Communication and a B.S. in Sociology. After graduating this May, she is still, sigh, unemployed.
