Ivailo Kalfin
European Parliament Representative, Bulgaria
Ivailo Kalfin is Member of the European Parliament from Bulgaria. Kalfin is the rapporteur on the EU budget for 2014-2020. He drafted the Parliament’s position on the newly adopted EU directive on the reuse of the public sector information and is engaged in the drafting of the EU legislation on cyber security.
Ivailo Kalfin served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria (2005-2009). He is member of the group of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) the European Parliament.
