Jack Vawdrey is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as the Mormon Church. He is a native of Utah, but in the fall of 2012 began his studies at the University of Southern California. In February of 2013 he deferred his university education for two years to fulfill an LDS mission, a common act of faith among LDS youth. He served his mission in Tallahassee, Florida and Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, preaching the tenets of the LDS religion and offering service of various kinds. Now that he has returned to USC he is studying English and Business. He is involved in his own religious organization as well as on-campus interfaith groups.
