Jacquelyn McCroskey

John Milner Professor of Child Welfare, USC; Co-Director, Children's Data Network; Commissioner, LA County Commission on Children&Families

Jacquelyn McCroskey is the John Milner Professor of Child Welfare at the University of Southern California School of Social Work and Co-Director of the Children’s Data Network. For over two decades, she has used data and scholarship to inform policy and guide improvements to government systems in order to improve outcomes for children and families. As a member of the LA Roundtable for Children, she worked on LA County’s first Children’s Budget, helped to create the LA County Children’s Planning Council and developed a series of LA County Children’s ScoreCards (1991-2009). She now serves on the County’s Commission on Children and Families, and the Policy Roundtable for Child Care and Development. In 2003, she was named the “California Social Worker of the Year” by the California Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
