James Ford has been an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Centenary College for over eight years teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in accounting, economics, and finance. Prior to teaching, he had been employed for over 35 years in several Fortune 500 companies as well as some smaller companies. Many of those years were spent preparing accounting, financial, budgeting and accounting translation of international reports for top management or the company’s executive management in the main headquarters. Additionally, he had many years in various levels of cost accounting management including transitioning cost accounting legacy systems to the newer Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP).
