Jamie Mittelman is a marketer for social change who uses communications to connect and empower others. During her tenure with the world’s most widely recognized non-profit, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Jamie learned how to engage a wide range of audiences and leverage platforms to create impact. Prior to WWF, she spent two years working for the Asian University for Women, the first liberal arts college for women in Asia, a University whose goal is to graduate the first continental generation of female leaders promoting sustainable human and economic development in their communities and throughout the world. Jamie began working on the ground as a grammar teacher and mentoring program director in Chittagong, Bangladesh and later moved into creative development, concluding with the published book, Butter Tea and Banana Soup: Food as Identity. 2012.
