Janet Odgis founded Odgis + Co 30 years ago after receiving an M.F.A. from Yale University. Earlier, she had been a Special Projects Designer at Random House, Knopf and Vintage. She has art directed and designed in the advertising, pharmaceutical and magazine sales promotion industries. She also taught graphic design for 5 years at Parsons The New School for Design and for 12 years at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Janet’s work has received many honors, including the National Book Award, as well as recognition by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Art Directors Club, DESI and Print Regional. She is a member of the Women’s Presidents’ Organization, AIGA and the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). What I do is make business beautiful.
