Janine Jagger, M.P.H., Ph.D., is Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia. She is an epidemiologist and author of more than 150 articles in the medical literature. She was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 2002 for her research improving the safety of medical devices. She is president of the Familial Mediterranean Fever Foundation which she founded in 2012.
