Jason Eric Schiffman, MD, MA, MBA is the founder and Medical Director of the Camden Center and the UCLA Dual Diagnosis Program. He previously served as chief resident psychiatrist at the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Program and Editor in Chief of Anxiety.org. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and is a graduate of the MD/MBA program at the University of Southern California where he focused on health systems management and technology-based healthcare delivery. He has extensive research experience in molecular biology and is the author of numerous scientific publications in this field. Dr. Schiffman also received a Masters of Arts degree in Linguistics from UCLA where he specialized in syntax and semantics. One of Dr. Schiffman's primary interests has been the development of novel healthcare systems for the treatment of psychiatric and addictive disorders. Toward this end he has developed the Camden Center model of care which identifies and treats both the symptoms and causes of mental health disorders through diagnostic evaluation, feedback-based treatment planning, and the matching of patients with individualized, multidisciplinary teams of expert clinicians.
