Jazmin Kay
Youth Journalist

Originally from New York, Jazmin Kay is a student at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C, studying Political Science. Jazmin’s writing, personal essays, and interviews have been published on The Huffington Post, MTV, Seventeen Magazine, and The Nation, in addition to numerous magazines and journals she writes for. Jazmin is Youth Director at the women’s non-profit organization Feminist.com and the former Voting Rights and Civic Engagement reporter at Generation Progress at The Center for American Progress. Jazmin is currently serving as the 2015-2016 NCAM Youth Ambassador for Washington D.C., empowering youth to take action through Youth Service America. In the future, Jazmin hopes to merge her passions for politics, public service, and effective communications to help in creating positive change for the next generation of young leaders.
