President and CEO, American Lung Association of the Northeast
Jeff Seyler, CEO of the American Lung Association of the Northeast, previously served as the CEO of the American Lung Association of New England since 2007. He has led the effort to streamline and strengthen the organization financially, while positioning it into a leadership role for lung health and healthy air in the northeast.
Seyler has been with the American Lung Association for 18 years. He served as an Executive Director of an affiliate office in Massachusetts leading program and fundraising efforts, and later became CEO of the American Lung Association of Massachusetts statewide. At the National Lung Association, he serves on the Executive Leadership Team and has served on several committees including the Field Operations Committee, Finance Committee, Marketing and Communications Committee, and CEO Search Committee.
Earlier in his career, Seyler was a senior field manager at the American Heart Association and was a regional director at the National Kidney Foundation. He has been involved as a member of the Kiwanis Club and as a KEY Club advisor, and has chaired and been active on the administrative board, staff-parish relations and other committees at Trinity United Methodist Church.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance.
Seyler has an undergraduate degree in management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MBA from Western New England College. He is married, has two daughters, and lives in Wilbraham, MA.
