Jennie Haskamp

Jennie Haskamp is a Marine Corps veteran who was 20-years-old when she stumbled upon a salty Pearl Harbor Sailor who reminded her she didn’t know what she didn’t know. He challenged her to listen and learn over the course of almost two decades. (Thanks, Bud.) An avid writer and prolific photographer (pictures or it never happened, right?) she’s an accidental tourist of sorts, she keeps her friends entertained with anecdotes and photos while she finishes college and decides what she wants to be when she grows up. She drinks too much coffee, endeavors to add stamps to her passport, laughs at her own jokes and is finally accepting the idea social media and true anonymity don’t coexist.
