Ms. Streaks entered the financial industry as an analyst with the National Association of Securities Dealers. On the front-lines problem solving crucial developments, such as insider trading and market manipulation, she offered a fresh perspective on issues related to the financial sector as business officer in both the securities and banking and business industries for major companies including KPMG, LLP, where she serviced elite clientele such as Merrill Lynch, Fleet Boston Bank and Legg Mason.

In 2003, Jennifer Streaks, was appointed to the bi-partisan Ppresident’s Commission on the United States Postal Service, vetting corporate governance and finance matters resulting in a final report, including recommendations, presented to Congress. She also monitored hotbed issues such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, corporate ethics and financial accountability as her role in this capacity.

Ms. Streaks has developed programs teaching basic financial strategies through her new monthly blog, Dollars & Streaks. She is also writing her debut book titled Digging Your Dreams Out of Debt; a book that focuses on financial management and addresses credit issues, retirement and investing, and avoiding financial pitfalls.

A native of South Carolina, Jennifer is a graduate of the College of Charleston. She also earned a law degree and has an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business.
