Jenny Perlman Robinson

Senior Program Officer, Children and Youth

As the Senior Program Officer, Children and Youth, Jenny Perlman Robinson manages the Women’s Refugee Commission’s Displaced Youth Initiative, which promotes increased attention and support for appropriate educational and job training opportunities for displaced young people. In this capacity, she carries out assessments in conflict-affected areas and conducts advocacy with key decision-makers.

Prior to joining the Women’s Refugee Commission in 2003, Jenny worked on issues of women’s empowerment, human rights and development with other nongovernmental organizations, the United Nations and the World Bank. She has undertaken research and assessments in Bolivia, Cuba, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Thailand, Liberia, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Jenny earned her Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies and Peace Studies from Colgate University.
