Dr. Jeffrey H. Toney

Dr. Jeffrey H. Toney is an educator and a scientist whose career has spanned academia and the pharmaceutical industry. He serves as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Kean University in Union, New Jersey. His recent news media publications include The New York Times and The Hill (Congress Blog). He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds six US patents. He serves on the Steering Committee of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Human Rights Coalition. He has also published short fiction stories in O-Dark-Thirty, the literary journal of The Veterans Writing Project, The East Coast Literary Review and in Crack The Spine. Recently, he was nominated for a PushcartPrize for his 100 word story, “The Quiet Raspberry Wormhole” published by Crack The Spine.
