Chip Akridge is the founder and board chairman of the Trust for the National Mall. A Vietnam veteran, Akridge founded the organization in 2007 to restore, improve and preserve the grounds where America’s bravest heroes and brightest leaders are honored. Akridge also serves as the founder and chairman of the commercial real estate firm bearing his name, and is a committed advocate of community initiatives in the Washington, D.C. region.
