Dr. Jorge R. Petit is a bilingual/bicultural psychiatrist in practice in NYC and the president/founder of Quality Healthcare Solutions Group which provides training and consulting services for healthcare systems including community-based behavioral health agencies, hospital psychiatry/behavioral health departments, and local and state regulatory entities.

He is an expert advisor to the North East Business Group on Health (NEBGH), Mental Health Task Force – Depression Screening and Management in Primary Care/One Voice Initiative; a member of the Committee on Psychiatric Administration & Leadership in the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry (GAP) and a member of the Mental Health Association of New York City’s (MHA-NYC) Professional Advisory Committee (PAC).

He is the Chairman-Elect on the Board for Mental Health News Education, Inc. and recently joined the board of the Empire State Pride Agenda Foundation; he also participated on the advisory board of The Ray of Light Fund and Grameen PrimaCare.
