Judge Corriero is the executive director and founder of the New York Center for Juvenile Justice. He was a judge for 28 years in the criminal courts of New York State. During the last 16 years of his tenure, Judge Corriero presided over Manhattan’s Youth Part. The Youth Part is a special court established in the Supreme Court--Criminal Term, New York County to resolve the cases of all 13-, 14-, and 15-year -old children who are charged in Manhattan as “Juvenile Offenders” and tried as adults, as well as their co-defendants regardless of age.
