Julie Vacca

Creative Director, VACCA

Julie Vacca, being in fashion for twenty years began her career by working for Burberry. 10 years ago Julie, along with her husband started the fashion company Domenico Vacca. She obtained her degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Domenico Vacca is a name synonymous with Italian luxury and elegance with pieces crafted from the highest quality fabrics. The bespoke world of Domenico Vacca focuses on the sartorial spirit of Naples. With it’s classic and timeless silhouettes, Domenico Vacca became well known for its hand-made suite, shirts and alligator accessories. The luxury house is now taking a step forward by adding a design line under the label, VACCA, which Julie is the creative director of. With a background that is deeply rooted into the sartorial world, Julie and her son Robert, who is currently attending business school at NYU, have began translating the codes of classic Neapolitan men’s clothing into women’s wear. The more relaxed and menswear-inspired, but no less feminine VACCA is a reflection of Julie’s interpretation of effortless elegance.
