Actress, <i>The Office</i>

Kate Flannery portrays Dunder Mifflin's alcoholic, accident prone, Meredith Palmer on NBC's award winning comedy series "The Office.” The final season premiered on Sept. 20th at 9pm on NBC. Flannery recently performed at the Emmy Awards as part of the singing group the Emmytones. She has made numerous appearances as a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," “Chelsea Lately” and “Carson Daly.” Her other television appearances include Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place", "Last Comic Standing," "The Bernie Mac Show," "Boomtown," "Curb Your Enthusiasm, and she was the voice of "Lucy" in a Robert Smigel cartoon on "Saturday Night Live."
This past fall Kate was seen hosting the second season of stand-up comedy series “StandUp in Stilettos” for the TV Guide Network, each show features three stand-up comediennes whose acts feature material for, by and about women.

Kate recently returned to the New York stage and starred in Nora Ephron’s “Love, Loss and What I Wore” and at Joe's Pub with her cult comedy lounge act, THE LAMPSHADES which she continues to perform regularly in Hollywood. (www.thelampshades.com) Kate was also seen this past winter co-starring in the Hallmark Channel’s “The Christmas Pageant” opposite Melissa Gilbert and is also the voice of Wendy in all the Wendy’s Hamburgers commercials.

Flannery played Neely O'Hara in the Off Broadway hit "Valley of the Dolls" at the Circle in the Square and LA's Coast Playhouse. A former member of Second City's National Tour Co., she is an original member of Chicago’s Annoyance Theater where she co created over 15 shows, including "the Miss Vagina Pageant" and "the Real Live Brady Bunch," which played over 30 cities and the Kennedy Center.

Kate graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where her family owned a bar.
