Kate Quick

Mother, writer, professor

Kate Quick grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and moved to Alaska in 2001, where she completed a master of fine arts in nonfiction writing. She currently lives a few miles outside of Fairbanks, Alaska, with her husband and three kids. She teaches writing classes for the University of Alaska and writes in her spare time. She has also published essays in Cirque: A Literary Journal for the North Pacific Rim, and The Blue Lake Review.
