Kathryn J. Lively is a professor of sociology at Dartmouth College. Her areas of research include social interaction, emotion, identity, and gender. She is currently working on a project examining the social psychological mechanisms underlying sustainable weight loss. She has written for Psychology Today and New Hampshire Business Magazine, and has been a guest on New Hampshire Public Radio's The Exchange.
