Katie Anderson

I am a 27-year-old Northern California native. I am currently a full-time student at a local college and working with kids (which I love). I’m majoring in Early Childhood Education with plans to go into nursing school once I have my AA degree so that I can continue to work with children and families in a medical setting. I am an avid reader and writing is my escape -– it helps me to be creative and process what is going on around me. In my tight-knit group of friends I am known as “advice girl” and my friends frequently come to me for advice when they are struggling. In my free time, you can find me with friends or family, relaxing by reading a good book, watching a movie or blogging for The Hob. I am laid back, fun to be around and determined to get through whatever life throws at me -– my past experiences have shaped me into who I am today. I blog because I want to be able to reach out to people and help them through rough times and to encourage them. As hard as life can be, you are never alone.
