Katie Finnegan and Erica Bell

Founders, Hukkster

Katie Finnegan and Erica Bell founded online shopping concierge Hukkster, which alerts shoppers when their favorite styles go on sale. Katie holds a B.A. from Colgate University and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from Duke University. Erica holds a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University. Katie and Erica met in 2007 while waist-high digging through polo shirts and seersucker shorts in the sample closet at J.Crew. Working side by side as merchandisers, the duo formed an instant bond over their love for fashion and New York City. Five years later, Katie and Erica traded in their nautical stripes for tailored suits and the hectic lifestyle of management consulting. Lacking free time, the two savvy shoppers began to commiserate over their email inboxes that overflowed with deals and special offers. Katie and Erica were intent on accessing the latest trends at affordable prices, but they could not find the time to sort through all of these offers for the diamond in the rough. Voila, Hukkster was born! Katie and Erica launched Hukkster to help sophisticated shoppers save time and money. It is their mission to give you back control over your wardrobe and your wallet, helping you access the styles you adore at affordable prices season after season.
